Board of Directors Meeting Minutes – October 30, 2022

Call to Order

Outlet Tree Discussion

1009 Langenberg Tree Trimming

  • Discussed tree pushing on existing fence and prohibiting Lori from getting a new fence.  Bob to follow up to get recommendations for tree trimmers.  Lori joined and expressed her desires and the need for the trees to be trimmed back. Timing may wait till spring, but would be happy if we could get it taken care of soon.

Financial Considerations

Dues – Deb

  • Alex to call Deb and align on discrepancies in invoices and the list of those individuals that had completed the survey.

  • Alex Status – To reach out to the State.

Insurance- Deb

Paypal

  • Alex giving access ensuring Deb can see the addresses of those that have paid via electronic means.

Annual Reports

  • Request end of year information and financial reports.

Old Business

Annual Meeting Planning

  1. Timing.
    1. Aligned to have the meeting via Zoom – Administration work
    2. Plan for in person in April 2023
    3. Notification – Tuesdays – 7:00-9:00, Nov. 29th
  2. Election of Officers – Alex expressed desire to have additional members join the HOA Board, and possibly have a new president.

Follow up survey for bylaw compliance and special projects

  • Will discuss at Annual meeting and look at getting individuals to help participate

  • Garden Club – Still need
  • Other new business
    • Signage – Discussed the comments received in the past about adding a Sign for the neighborhood.  Discussed the possibility of putting in flowers and beautifying the entry ways.  Discussed possibly waiting until construction may be finished.
    • Curious when Navigate will start construction on new homes – Emily to reach out and see about timing.
  • Trees – Discussed new Trees planted from the city.  Discussed concerns that we had received as a board.  No notice, didn’t like placement, didn’t like variety, blocking solar panels, impacts areas where kids can play.
    • Bob mentioned calling earlier about trees.  Here are the numbers he called. 319-356-5100, received calls back from 319-356-5299.
