The Board of Directors has set the above time and place for the Sandhill Estates Owners Association Annual Meeting. Notice is being mailed to your homes no less than 10 and no more than 30 days prior to the date of the meeting. Several items were mailed to each residence, including a meeting agenda, as well as copies of last year’s meeting minutes from April 9, 2019 and the proposed budget, subject to approval.
As you are all aware, we postponed our annual meeting initially scheduled for April 7 due to the health and safety concerns presented by COVID-19. We hoped the situation would improve so we could hold an in-person meeting. However, it seems best to hold our 2020 annual meeting online over the Zoom Meeting Platform. For those wanting to practice Zoom prior to the annual meeting, we will hold a “Getting to know Zoom” event on Tuesday, October 27 from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Again, check the resources mentioned above to receive information on how to participate.
The owner(s) of each lot within the Sandhill Estates subdivision is entitled to one vote. You may attend the meeting to vote in-person or cast your vote via proxy. A proxy form was mailed to each residence for your convenience and must be completed, submitted, and verified prior to the start of the meeting. A quorum (majority) must be present for votes to be official. If you are not able to attend, please contact sandhill.estates.ic@gmail.com or call 319-359-6619 as we would be happy to collect your proxy form to ensure that your vote is counted. We also invite residents to contact a current board member if you are interested in joining the HOA board of directors.
